A 10 Couple!

I cannot not post the beautiful union of  D and J, who came to Miami for their civil marriage and be close to those who they love, before they return to Colombia, where they live.
They chose to get married on 10/10/10 and make this day unforgettable for them (that is for sure!) an special day is considered lucky in Chinese culture, because the number 10 represents perfection or completion, according to the "I Ching," an ancient Chinese text.
No puedo dejar de publicar la unión de D y J, quienes vinieron a  Miami para casarse por el civil y así estar cerca de aquellos a quienes quieren, antes de regresar a Colombia, donde viven.

Ellos decidieron casarse el 10/10/10 y hacer así este dia inolvidable para ellos (eso será por seguro!), un dia especial que es considerado de la suerte en la cultura china, porque el número 10 representa la perfección o la terminación, de acuerdo al libro antiguo chino "I Ching".

Many couples have got married on dates like 07/07/07, 08/08/08, 09/09/09, 10/10/10, so I'm already looking forward for the 11/11/11 couples!

After their beautiful and funny engagement's photosession, Kenya and Carlos had a pretty ceremony surrounded for their most closest friends and family, in the terrace of "The Rustic Pelican", one of the iconic spots of Miami... with the city as a witness of their love...

Luego de su hermosa y divertida sesión de compromiso, Kenya y Carlos tuvieron una linda ceremonia rodeados por su familia y amigos más cercanos, en la terraza de "The Rustic Pelican", uno de los lugares emblemáticos de Miami... con la ciudad de fondo como testigo de su amor....

Sweet history of the day...
There were a brother and a sister that were separated for more of 50 years... They lost contact, couldn't find any clue that could guide them to each other and had hundred of miles between them... But thanks to the actual technology, Carlos, the groom, found his aunt and gave this gift of hope and family to his dad, who was reconnected with his sister just a few months ago, having the opportunity of being together in this special occasion...
Una dulce historia de ese dia...
Allí estaban un hermano y una hermana que estuvieron separados por más de 50 años... 
Ellos perdieron contacto entre sí (en aquellos tiempos no habian las facilidades de comunicación de ahora), sin pistas que los guiaran, y con cientos de kilómetros entre si... Pero gracias a la tecnología actual, Carlos, el novio, logró seguir una pista y encontrar a su tia, para dar un regalo de esperanza y familia a su padre, quien fue reconectado con su hermana algunos meses atrás, y quien pudo estar presente en esta ocasión especial... 

Greys and Harvey's Wedding

Finally the wedding of this amazing couple at the Killian Country Club in Miami. If you remember, I shot their engagement session a few months ago.
I met Greys through her sister, whose wedding I got to photograph at the beginning of this year, so I already knew many of the guests... reason why I felt like a guest too jajajajaja just kidding!

Finalmente, les muestro la boda de una super pareja que se llevó a cabo en Killian Country Club de Miami. Si recuerdan, yo les tomé las fotos de compromiso hace unos meses atrás.
Conocí a Greys, la novia, a través de su hermana, a quien igualmente le tomé fotos el dia de su boda a principios de este año, por lo que ya conocía a varios de los invitados... y me sentía como una invitada más también jajajajajajaj (es broma, pero es que me sentí muy bien)

MJ + Chris: Married!

Sorry for the delay but these last weeks had been crazy! My computer broke, we had family visiting us from Venezuela, I had three days of migraine... so, I had forced vacations.
I have some posts to upload, so let me show you some pending photos a I wanted to share with you.
Disculpen la demora en aparecer por aquí pero estas últimas semanas han sido locas! Mi computadora se dañó, tuvimos familiares visitándonos de Venezuela, tuve como tres dias jaqueca... por lo que prácticamente tuve vacaciones forzadas. Tengo varias cosas que subir al blog, por lo que permítanme mostrarles algunas fotos que tengo pendientes.

This is my 3rd and last post (from this trip) about New Orleans; as you may remember (if you are one of my 3 readers :P) we were lucky to go to NOLA to capture the special moment of a fantastic couple, who had an intimate ceremony just a few days after their e-session.
Este es mi 3er y último post (de este viaje) sobre New Orlenas; como quizás recuerden (si eres uno de mis tres visitantes :P) tuvimos la suerte de ir a NOLA para plasmar el momento especial de unas estupenda pareja, quienes tuvieron una ceremonia intima pocos dias después de sus fotos de compromiso.

Sesión de Compromiso al estilo New Orleans

A few days ago I posted about our trip to New Orleans, which was mainly to take pictures of an engagement and a wedding of a beautiful couple. 
She's from Ecuador, He's from Indiana but they met in Miami, and have enjoyed their love around the world... And one of those places that became especial for them is New Orleans, where they have dear friends and have had good times.
Pocos días atrás publiqué un post sobre nuestro viaje a New Orleans, el cual fue principalmente para cubrir una sesión de compromiso y una boda de una hermosa pareja. 
Ella es de Ecuador, él es de Indiana pero se conocieron en Miami, y han tenido la suerte de disfrutar de su amor alrededor del mundo, siendo uno de estos lugares New Orleans, el cual se convirtió en un sitio especial para ellos, donde tienen amigos muy queridos y han disfrutado de buenos momentos.

Miami is a multicultural city, where love does not have accents or nacionalities... Like this beautiful couple that got married on the Sunshine City, among family and friends. She's from Venezuela, He's from Peru... But their love is at the Miami style: Happy!
